The Tyler Anne School of Dance Competitive Program gives dancers the opportunity to learn different styles of dance from numerous elite choreographers. Dancers that are a part of this program will be training for multiple hours weekly and their training will allow them to develop leadership skills, independence, as well as group-work and social skills and allow them to build up their own self-confidence.
Dancers on competitive teams will not only be working towards competing, but will get the opportunity to participate in various industry practices such as: concept videos, master classes, and much more!
The Competitive Program is divided into two levels: COMP I and COMP II.
COMP II teams are our elite level teams for all styles and requires more commitment and therefore train for more hours weekly.
All dancers must audition to be on a competition team.
The Tyler Anne School of Dance Competitive Program has as a goal to mold recreational dancers into competitive, professional dancers.
Dancers on competitive teams will not only be working towards competing, but will get the opportunity to:
Follow their personal growth journey as dancers through their team's private Instagram page,
Learn, film & post to their Instagram page; choreography using new styles & techniques from our panel of diversified coaches to further their dance knowledge,
Be a part of the learning, making and creating of concept videos, and
Learn from industry experts through master classes.
Solos, Duos & Trios
Solos, Duos and Trios are available for any competitive dancers under the conditions that:
a dancer is already on a competitive team and competing in the same style.
( This means a dancer that is solely on a Hip Hop Team cannot request to get a Contemporary Solo )
