Special guest speaker each week! September 17th - October 22nd Tuesdays @ 9:30-11:00 Come hear from a different specialist every week and ask your questions, while your little one plays! We touch on some hot topics to help you navigate this most difficult stage of parenting. -Sept 17: Healthy Sleep Habits for Toddlers! Join Amy Freed-Burns, Pediatric Sleep Consultant and owner of Teaching Tots to Sleep, to talk about bedtime routines, separation anxiety, independent sleep skills, setting boundaries, and managing big transitions like moving into a big kid bed or dropping a nap. -Sept 24: Feeding Fussy Toddlers! Join Naomi Berkowicz, a mom, registered dietitian-nutritionist (RD) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Learn about feeding your child, who used to accept most foods, but now throws a tantrum at the table. We focus on family feeding, and relieving pressure and stress. -Oct 1: Toddler Tantrums! Join Callie Gruber, M.Ed, Child Behaviour Specialist and mom of two. We'll talk about emotional regulation strategies, and 3-key tools to keep in your pocket while navigating your little one's very big feelings. -Oct 8: Talking with Your Toddler! Join Mindy Niloff Backler, M.S. CCC-SLP, experienced speech-language pathologist and mom of 4, for an interactive workshop on nurturing your child's language skills. Discover the top 5 proven tips to boost your toddler's communication abilities. Learn practical techniques that lay the foundation for social, academic, and literacy success. -Oct 15: Join Sydney Wajcman, Occupational Therapist and owner of Accompagner à Grandir, to talk about social development, navigating big transitions, and emotional regulation. -Oct 22: Dental Hygiene for Toddlers! Join Dr. Erica Abbey, Paediatric Dentist, to talk about dental hygiene, tips & tricks for getting those teeth brushed, and diet considerations for a healthy smile. Includes access to play areas. Doors open at 9:30 and close at 11:00. Guest speaker and Q&A begins at 9:45 and ends at 10:45.
