BABY ART EXPLORATION
A tactile experience for your little ones! Play and interact with your kids, and make new friends in this baby art series. This time offers a stimulating and safe environment for you & your baby and/or young toddler to explore basic art materials. We will use an array of art media to offer sensory play and an introduction to art, including non-toxic paints, paper, flour glue, fabrics, sand and water.
Classes are relaxed, open-ended and sensory based, providing a range of learning and development experiences, as well as fun, creative keepsakes. Providing opportunities for art exploration supports all areas of learning and growth, including motor skills, sensory discovery, language and social skills.
ART PLAY
Art Play mornings invite children to explore freely and enjoy the process of creation.
In these child-led creative sessions, we provide an introduction to the use of age-appropriate art
materials in a process driven environment. Every week we introduce new open-ended art setups under a different overarching theme. Sensory stations are always out for play & discovery. Children are free to explore and move throughout our stations at their own pace.
Creative activities help to develop fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, confidence, and
sensory perception. Age-appropriate educational emphasis is placed on textures, vocabulary,
patterns & shapes, counting, non-representational art, and the development of fine motor skills.
PRE-K MINI MAKERS
This class is for the little artists who are ready for the next step from Art Play, offering open-
ended instructed projects blended with time for child-led creative exploration. Children will have the opportunity to paint and explore creative play at their own pace as well as to learn about a new art process or concept as they work on more focused, multi-step creative projects.
We encourage children to use their imaginations while we present a new idea and technique each
week. They are free to work independently, collaboratively, or with their parents.
ART AFTER SCHOOL
These are open-ended creative sessions for your children to explore, build, create, and get messy!
We introduce a new focus every week, giving them the opportunity to learn about different
materials and techniques, experiment with colour, and so much more.
Children will have the opportunity to explore painting stations, engage in messy play, and create at their own pace! Each week we will add a layer to our own personal canvases using different paints and techniques, explore open-ended art setups, and have fun with sensory play.

PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE ALWAYS SMALL PARTS IN THE STUDIO AND WE ASK
THAT PARENTS SUPERVISE CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 3 AT ALL TIMES
*Children that are 4y+ and potty trained may be dropped off, but we also love having parents
and siblings under 16m stay and join in free of charge.
During Open Studio times, creative stations will be set up with open-ended activities and materials. Ideas and techniques will be presented but children are encouraged to use their imagination. Support and gentle guidance will be offered, but there will be no formal instruction.
Stations will change weekly. Materials such as clay, paint, and chalk pastels can be messy so
please be prepared to get your hands dirty!
